ANDREE JARDIN
Over 100 years ago, on the banks of the Erdre river, George-René Julio, the husband to be of Andrée Jardin, began an apprenticeship as a brush maker in Nantes. More than one hundred years later, his grandsons, François-Marie and Jean-Baptiste have taken over the family business and bought it into the 21st century. Boasting three generations of brush making expertise, Andrée Jardin creates the ultimate range of brushes for everyday use with handles crafted of beech or heat-treated ash. The French label uses the best quality white silk, horsehair or plant fibres for the bristles and the wood is sourced from sustainably managed forests. Awarded the EPV (Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant) label for their excellence in the craft, these French home & beauty essentials make for fabulous gifts.
